Finances and Giving

Thank you

Thanks for your interest in giving and finances at Woodford Baptist Church. This page explains the different ways available to you to give, and where the money goes. At the bottom of the page you'll find a link to another leaflet, ‘Opening the Floodgates of Heaven’ a 14-page booklet explaining Biblical principles for our finances which is free to download. Copies of this information, along with the Floodgates booklet as well as offering envelopes and Gift Aid Forms are also available by each of the offering boxes in the building.

Different ways to give

  • Bank Transfer. Many members choose to give through the bank every month by Standing Order. If you use internet banking you can set this up easily once logged into your account (we also have Standing Order forms available at church for those that don’t use Internet banking). If you are able to Gift Aid your donation please make sure you have filled in a Gift Aid declaration, and that we can identify your gift(s) by using your name as the reference. The church’s account details are: Account name - Woodford Baptist Church. Sort Code: 20-52-74; Account number - 80977675.

  • Cash or Cheque (payable to Woodford Baptist Church). You can use the offering boxes at either the front or back of the church to give by cash or cheque at whatever time suits you – there is no offering or collection taken as part of the service. If you are able to Gift Aid your donation please use one of the envelopes provided so that we can identify your gift(s).

  • Other Ways. Some people choose to give anonymously through Stewardship or CAF. Some give through their companies or via their Payslip, using Give-As-You-Earn or other Payroll giving solutions. Some companies even match employee giving.

  • Leaving a Gift in Your Will. Many people have left gifts to their church in their will. If you would like more information or a leaflet about this please contact the office.
